Team /S Claims First Win and First Points for the Season!!!!

Team /S 2 (Yoon, Yuda) Crescent Rovers 1

The return of our role model Seah and the addition of many many AC players finally pulled off a win for Team /S!

As usual, Team /S had a slow start to the game with Crescent Rovers still fully energised and launching those long balls we've been ever so familiar with~ With the employment of our Iron defenders in the heart of our defence (John and Hanwei), /S dealt with the long balls comfortably. However, clean sheets don't come very often for Team /S. In comes a volley from outside the area straight at the keeper and straight into the goal. Not many clear cut chances for both teams. Half-time. 0-1. Team /S staring straight into their 3rd consecutive defeat.

2nd Half, Team /S plays with KY at left-back and Yuda at Right-Mid for the first time in history! WICKED SICK!!!! /S pounds on the pressure on a exhausted Crescent Rovers! All the effort paid off when finally a defensive error saw Yoon pounce on the ball to slot it cooly past the keeper! 1-1! The tide has changed! However, it took some luck for /S to maintain the scoreline when a corner by Crescent Rovers was volleyed straight into goal only to be stopped by a CRESCENT ROVER! omg.... Shocking moment indeed. In the closing moments of the game, a corner from KY to the far post found an unmarked Yuda who powered a header across goal! GOAL!!!!! ^^ 2-1!! Team /S defended the final moments of the game with their lives to claim 3 precious points!!!

Happy Bday Huiyi Party!!

And after a great BBQ...

Team /S 2 (Yuda, Vu) Mystic 3

Team /S still unable to gain a point in the league. With 3 Vietnamese imports, Vu, Trung and ?Hip?, the team needed time to understand one another on the pitch. This resulted in a really poor performance by Team /S in the 1st-Half. However, we were lucky to end the half 0-0 requiring a miss from the penalty spot by Mystics.

We started pushing forward in the 2nd Half and started to gel as a team. Unfortunately, our defence couldn't hold up and we let in 2 goals early in the 2nd Half. 2-0 to Mystics. This was the turning point as we really started to play well. Although 2 goals down, Team /S played like a team possessed. Attacking and pressing non-stop breaking through the flanks numeral times but it took some luck for /S to find the goal as the oncoming keeper rushing out to stop Yuda missed the ball completely allowing Yuda to slot the ball into an empty net. 2-1! A glimpse of hope. With all the focus on attack, we allowed a counter attack to break through the defence once again. The defence forced the opponent to scuff his shot but the scuff shot was enough to find its way into the goal. 3-1. /S picked themselves up once again and continued pouncing on the opponents. 20 min from time, a long ball from Hanwei was mishandled by their defence and Vu sneaked between the defender and the keeper to flick the ball past the keeper and into the goal. 3-2! The best chance came when Vu put in a cross from the right flank to find an unmarked Yuda, but he mistimed his header to put the ball wide off the goal. Final Score, 3-2.

AND FINALLY...WE HAVE...THE WINNER....OF THE GREAT /S CHALLENGE!!!!!

Guess the pic speaks for itself ^^

Team Managers and Captains,

I understand that today's fixtures was not smooth atall. Therefore, I feels that I got reason to informall of you how it works when comes to raining thatresulting not able to play.

Today, I am suppose to have 3pm league match at Hua YiSec. The Field Supervisor called me from 12.59pm andfinal confirmed with me by 1.43pm that match need tobe call off due to rain.

Subsequently, the Field Supervisor started to call mefrom 3.45pm to notify me the rest of the leaguevenues, Boon Lay Sec, Hua Yi Sec and West Spring Sechave to be cancel due to rain. Without any delay, Istarted to contact all of you about it.

I understand that some teams might be travelling fromsome far areas to the venues, but the Field Supervisoris the sole person to decide whether the field can beplayed or not as they worked directly under SingaporeSports Council and should there be rain and such amatter, if they need to cancel the match, nothing Ican do.

Also, the Field Supervisors have been trying to assistme to allow the match to play and thats why the FieldSupervisor only called me around 1.43pm n 3.45pmrespoctively to cancel the match. The Field Supervisoris Neo 90671153 and you can choose to call him tocheck what time he notify me today about thecancellation.

I understand that the incident today, some of yo mighthave doubt about it, and thats why I choose to sendall of you the email and let you to understand how thematter goes should there be rain.

Kindly take down the contact number of the FieldSupervisor in case if I inform you about thecancellation by the Field Supervisor and you have anydoubts, do feel free to check with him and he will bethe best person to clarify for me.

SMU Pageant~

/S turned up in full force at Chinablack last night to support our beloved stonner at the SMU pageant. Mr M3 Dennis Chia!

Hao shuai worrr

At least that was the excuse. The real aim was to bio chai and then hopefully manage to kio chai to finally achieve the aim of G > B.

To boast our chances, we decided to go make friends with Jack before making our way down to Chinablack!

Friends of Jack

Free drinks, free food, hot dancers, live band. But we left early to support Dennis! Dennis should be so touched that he decides to sponser all the tickets.

Needless to say, the drinks didn't help and we all went home alone. To make G > B true, T(time) seems to drift towards positive infinity. T_T

Okie, I've posted here finally! =)
By the way, Wales Vs England's showing tonight. There's been a change. Please present ops order by 2000hrs.

hmm times of present...

times of present,
we cherish them,
take mental pictures,
so it'll last forever.
friends of present,
we hold them dear,
love them well,
brothers-in-arms.

though we may be miles apart, it's nice that we're still so close. i dunno if anyone or everyone feels this, but i'm really happy and proud to be part of this clique called /S. not because we're named after the porn comic or whatever it was, but well, for the bonds of friendship and love we have within the group. we have lasted long.. and hopefully we'll last forever. when we start work, hopefully we can meet up for dinner, crash at some dudes place for a match... it's gonna be hard. with the "family equation" coming into the picture... but well, impossible is nothing. i want us to be platinum, if i were to get married someday, i want each and everyone of u there with me... cos it would mean the world to me if u all came... haha.. seems kinda nostalgic.. this post kinda makes no sense.. kinda out of the blue.. might be the maths... dunno.. i was just reading les, kerkie's and jx's blogs. and we've grown up... or at least.. we are growing up.. think about it... when we're actually done with studies, we're gonna be 25. fuck man.. tat's old.. 5 more years after tt? we're 30. i remember sec school. 30 was fucking far away... and now, it's staring at me in my face. boo! man.. where did all the time go? and yes kerk, i do sit around sometimes and think what happens when i die.. the afterlife and whatever shit that ran thru your mind.. i may not know whether immortality is such a good idea, but... at least i know, even if i'm dead, i'd still have you guys in my past, my memories... they'd last forever...

cheerios guys.. i do so love and appreciate each and every one of you... study hard and play hard! =)

Also, I seek your good assistance to support the referees' that will be officiating your match. The referee that I have deploy will definitely be impartial and with his best level of controlling the match, as the referees' will also need the good assistance of you to coordinate with your own players.
