Team /S 2 - 2 Tenchi Intl

Team /S battled hard and were unlucky to end up with a draw with Tenchi Intl. Team /S had the priviledge of 3 substitues but lacked the prescence of a "confident" goalkeeper.

First half was messy as both teams tried to settle down. Before any team could get a grip on the game, Tenchi Intel score from a lobbing shop from about 25 yards out. Kerk was caught off position as the ball landed in the top left corner. 1-0 to Tenchi. Team /S responded well and great build up play almost resulted in a goal with ky shooting wide from 5 m out.

2nd half saw the introduction of tim into center mid, howie at left back and hussein at right back. Team /S piled the pressure on early and were almost rewarded with a strike from Ben. However, good link up play from travers n willam resulted in an equaliser by travers. He placed the shot at the bottom right corner and this time the ball rebounded off the post but into the goal. Team /S continued to put pressure on Tenchi but were slightly frustrated by the off-side trap. A pass from Tim managed to break the off-side trap for Lester to burst through from the halfway line. Taking only a few steps, he looked up and caught the keeper off his line and decided to go for it from about 20 m out. The chip swerved to the top left hand corner and team /S was 2-1 up! A foul was commited about 20 m from team /S's goal and a freekick which landed right below the cross bar equalised the game. Kerk would have saved that at the last second if it was another day.... Pressure from team /S continued and almost resulted in a goal but lester failed to connect cleanly with a volley after good work down the left flank.

Great work and if it was 40-45 mins a half instead, we were definately finish the job. Thanks for the great game!
