Team /S 5 (Travers, Francis(2), Yuda, Shawn) Team Grey 1It all happened from a fine chill out evening at Europa Bistro. Happily thinking that we've cancelled the game and awaiting our exciting journey into the House of Wax. Itz quite astonishing how a lot of guys do not want to face their greatest fear....seduction. They refuse to watch Paris Hilton strip. I really dUnNO WhY~~~~ So.....the truth is.....the ref said we can't cancel the game last minute!!!! That really pissed Jose Mourinho off and he decided that he's gonna field his BEST team tmr and show the ref watz FOOTBALL.
Indeed we found a very strong team with the return of Kerk and Junyi as well. On top of that Team /S signed their first ever indian player to create history, he is none other than Navin. And if that's not enough, we called upon the services of ACJC Star Striker Shawn Yoon and the man with all the Honour and Glory, Tim Young.
The condition of the field was not what we'd have liked with puddles of water impeding our beautiful sexy passing football. The opposition's lack of technical abilities was revealed right from the start and if there was any side dominating, it was Team /S. True enough, our first goal came from a Travers' Freekick just past the half field mark. Even though it didn't curl, it managed to find the top left corner! Very clinical Freekick indeed! 1-0!
Throughout the match, Francis was a great nuisance to their defence taking advantage of any mistakes made in the opposition half and Francis scored our 2nd goal with a shot from inside the box which went off the inside of the right-hand post making it 2-0! The opposition was very unhappy with the referee's decisions throughout the match and were not afraid to make their feelings known as though they were playing in the Serie A. The better team of course saw no need to do these meaningless cryouts. 2-0 it was as the 1st half ended.
Before the game, Francis made a challenge to Kerk. $5 for a goal for Francis and $5 for every goal Kerk condede. If u think about it it's a dumb bet for Kerk cause there is no way he could win and therefore he rejected the challenge.....so guys...Kerk is actually very smart even though he's been surfing the old webby 2 weeks after we've changed our webby. Cheers Kerk!!
So with the start of the 2nd half, we were all psyched up to keep our FIRST clean sheet! We continued to look for goals and Francis took advantage of yet another defence hiccup to go 1on1 and put the ball past the keeper to maked it 3-0! Just as we thought we could seal this clean sheet, a counter attack by the opposition caught our defence flat footed and scored 1on1 against a defenceless Kerk. 3-1 T_T.
Disappointed with yet another opportunity to achieve a clean sheet, the dragon within Team /S was unleashed! In the final 10 minutes of the game, the opposition were longer able to keep up with the pace and suddenly our passing seemed to be ripping them apart. In one counter-attack, the vision of Tim spotted a run from Yuda from deep and a perfectly timed and paced through ball was played through and just as Yuda was about to shoot, he heard from the depths....."U DUN SCORE $5 AR!!" Yes, that was Francis.....and suddenly i felt the fire within me burn and i slotted the ball just past the keeper! 4-1!
And if u think we only unleashed the dragon.....the tiger was unleashed in the dying minutes of the game! KY took over Kerk as Keeper!!!!! Our NEW left mid!!! KERK!!!! Extremely hardworking box to box play from Kerk! And a corner kick awarded to us almost found Kerk as the ball bounced over Kerk and found the head of Shawn!!! Free Header to maked it 5-1!!!!! Kerk would have scored that on any other day. And that's how the match ended! 3 Cheers to /S!!!!
