A seemingly weakened /S squad suddenly got strengthened by our ever-reliable player-generator Mr Poon! Going to Hooters and watching Liverpool pwn the night before certainly boosted /S' playing abilities (Foong says he feels like he's gonna score the next day).
Realising that our opponents were malays made us fear for the worse.......but this time we have Francis around.......and ever reliable Foong who can activate his lorry anytime. Team Malays were slow to get off and Team /S took full advantage as Francis and William does a somewhat unconventional passing system between them....Francis breaks away.....shoots.........GOAL! 1-0!
The 2nd goal came when Foong did a trademark run down the right....but instead of running all the way out of Minden Road, he cuts in....ponders whether he should pass.....cuts in......and slots the ball into the near post. Premonition come true....2-0!
With 399822718 offsides against Team /S, it was getting frustrating as Team Malays had quite a number of promising chances themselves. However, a rare break of the offside trap from a ky pass found yd who is presented with a one-on-one.....cuts past the keeper......3-0! Half-Time!
In the 2nd-half, Francis continued his fantastic goal to match ratio for Team /S as he delightfully lobbed the ball over the oncoming keeper. 4-0! The final goal came when yd breaks down the left and passes the ball into the middle for William to tap in! 5-0!!!
And not forgetting the ever exciting kerk who had his fair share of opportunities as well....in particular....a fantastic one-on-one with the keeper.......with the keeper losing his bearings and leaving almost 3/4 of the goal open....kerk displays his fantastic passing abilities by passing straight to the keeper! Fantastic!!
The first clean sheet for Team /S since 1974 when Team /S still consisted of ZOT GGIs.
