Team /S' Good Run Continues!

Team /S 9 (ydx3, kristantox2, kerk, chengwei, brendon, jerry) Team "ACJC" 2
2 new faces in defence for this game. SMU's Jerry played centreback and French import ala PSG fan, Dan played keeper.
/S breaks with tradition and scores first!! Yuda's freekick left the keeper rooted to the spot! 1-0!!
/S then created a plethora of opportunities culminating in a satanic shot from Yuda which hits the crossbar and bounces on the line ala England hat-trick hero, Geoff Hurst's controversial goal against West Germany in the World Cup final of 1966.
But the referee decided that Yuda was no Geoff Hurst. Play on!! A cross from the right finds an unmarked Brendon in front of goal who inexplicably chests the ball to the keeper.
A series of unfortunate deflections allowed the opposition to equalise. 1-1. Would Team /S be made to pay for their profligacy in front of goal???
Have no worries, Brendon is here!! Here he comes to save the day~~!! Brendon finally scores as he puts away a cross from the right!! 2-1!!
The second half started with a Kristanto-Kerk strike partnership. The opposition kicked off but lost the ball due to the Kristanto-Kerk partnership pressuring them from the start. Yuda gets the ball in the box and scores!! 3-1!!
Kristanto signalled to Kerk to pressurise them from the kickoff again and it paid off!! Kristanto somehow gets the ball and makes it 4-1 to /S.
Later, a cross from the left finds Kristanto at the far post who finishes emphatically to make it 5-1!!
Captain Yuda decides to go for an all-out attack and switches the team to a 3-4-3 formation with Brendon-Kristanto-Kerk forming the attacking trident.
However, a poor decision from the referee gives the opposition a glimmer of hope as a clearly offside striker lobs Dan. 5-2.
Kerk however had other ideas. A through pass from Brendon finds Kerk racing clear of the defence!! The big-sized Keeper rushes out but Kerk gets off the shot before he gets clattered. A recovering defender tries to stop the ball but to no avail. 6-2 to /S!!
Kingyau goes into goal as Dan comes out to play outfield. A flick from Kristanto finds Chengwei who bursts through 2 defenders and makes it 7-2!!
Yet another cross is flicked on by Kristanto and Yuda scores for his well-deserved hat-trick!! Geoff who?? Yuda can score a hat-trick even with a goal disallowed!!
The final goal comes as almost every /S player attacks and a cross from the right finds Jerry,our centreback, who scores on his debut.
Final score is 9-2 and it could have been more!!
