Team /S Still Too Leaky...
Team /S 2 (yd, ky) Central Park FC 2
Starting the game with 9 men was definitely not part of the plan for Les' final match. But with many ppl having family and mugging duties, Team /S had to brave the sun and still see a glimmer of 3pts.
As usual, Team /S conceded an early early early goal as a through ball was poorly judged by the defence and the gk to allow the simplest of goals for Central Park. 0-1 (watz new T_T).
Fortunately, the ball remembered to curl, and a freekick attempt by yd managed to find the top corner of the net. 1-1! Team /S back on level terms with 9 men!
Team /S rode on their momentum and had a few good chances at the goal but failed to convert. Half-Time. 1-1.
2nd Half, Team /S finally have 11 men. But John was having trouble with with a tinge of his middle name still in his blood vessels and gave the field some food to eat...or some beer to drink?
2nd Half was really monotonous with both teams seemingly drained by the sun. Nothing was happening until a corner kick from the opposition got headed into our own net by inexperienced full-back Navin. 1-2. Frustrating definitely. But wat Team /S never lacks is that undying fighting spirit. yd received the ball outside the box and put the ball through to choo who seems to be in an offside position but the ref was cock sure the left back was playing Team /S onside. Choo from a rather tight angle considered shooting but saw ky open in the middle and threaded it to ky who made no mistakes bout putting the ball in from close range. 2-2!
In the dying minutes, a freekick taken quickly by ky almost caught the keeper off guard but the keeper managed to punch it against the crossbar and subsequently retrieved to ball. Full-Time. 2-2.
