Team /S goes down 3-2

Real Madraz 3 Team IS 2 (Yuda 2 )

It all started on a Sunday evening as we made our way down to Tampines Sec.(Rumour has it that Foong's laughter was heard from as far as Boon Lay on the day Tampines Sec was announced as the next venue of our league match against Real Madraz.)

The pitch seemed kinda gg but it was pretty ok once the game started...We started with 10 men but the player-generator knows that thou shall summon at least 13 players before any game lest there be bangseh-kias.That aside, IS had 3 debutants in ben chen, tubby n dzarrin, who came later. Team IS played bravely and took the game to Real Madraz despite being a man down.Despite our efforts, Real Madraz somehow found their first goal...(okay, ky the right-back wasnt doing much defending as he believed the best form of defending was to attack, hur hur)

But the highlight of the first half had to be foong's header.As foong rose to meet ben's cross, we saw a moment of hope.Would he score a header after spending $140 on his hair?Would everyone be made to eat their words after dismissing foong's BOLD claim of being able to score a header?It was not to be but it was indeed a good attempt.(he didnt miss the ball completely this time haha =) )The first half ended in frustration as we were a goal down despite playing better than our opponents. The second half started with promise but we had a few scares when a flick from the opposition attacker hit our crossbar.Team IS played pretty well and showed lots of promise as they strung many passes together compared to the hopeful long balls played in the first half... We knew we deserved a goal and it duly came when a through pass found yours truly who crossed low for the legendary IS jiu hao to finish confidently.. honestly, i was afraid he couldnt get it.In typical humble fashion, Vu exclaimed 'My through pass damn nice right!' as we were restarting.

We kept attacking but our efforts were in vain as many good chances were either squandered or stopped by some desperate defending.Tubby gave us a real fright as he did an impersonation of Fabien Barthez when he cooly dribbled past a striker before clearing.Following that, Real Madraz somehow found another 2 goals and injured our courageous Tubby in the process.
Was it the end for us?

Yuda again had the last say as a ball was fed to him from the left and he brought it towards the centre... he picked his spot and unleashed what he himself would call a SATANIC SHOT into the left bottom corner.GOAL! Their keeper, who had an excellent game, couldnt even get near to it at full stretch.

The full-time whistle came soon after and another 3 points dropped.I felt we had a good game considering the fact that we haven't played as a team for a while.However, we did manage to set a new record.NO FOUL THROWS!!! Here's looking forward to the next league game!
